1050 Carbon Round Bar: ASTM A29/A29M is the standard specification for general requirements for steel bars, carbon and alloy, hot-wrought. Within this specification, Grade 1050 is a carbon steel commonly used in the manufacture of machinery parts and components. It typically contains around 0.50% carbon, along with manganese to improve its strength and hardenability.
1060 Carbon Round Bar: Similar to 1050, Grade 1060 is also covered under ASTM A29/A29M. It is another carbon steel grade with slightly higher carbon content, usually around 0.60%. This increase in carbon content enhances its strength and wear resistance compared to 1050 carbon steel.
